Our Stroke Development stage is the final stage in the Stepping Stones programme. This stage is aimed at swimmers who enjoy swimming and are considering taking their swimming journey further. This stage is the bridge between the learn to swim programme and competitive swimming.  Swimmers refining stroke technique working over multiple lengths of the pool, focusing on stamina and speed practises. 


Skill Required-

·    Swimmers should be confident over multiple lengths of the pool.

·    Have a good understanding of the main swimming strokes Front crawl, Back crawl, Breaststroke, Butterfly.

·    Demonstrate a good understanding of the breathing practises for each of the strokes.


The objective of the class is to refine skills learnt at previous stages and prepare swimmers if they wish to continue their swimming journey.  


Distance covered-

100m – 400m+ per swim  ​
