Our Improver stage is aimed at swimmers who have a good understanding of stroke technique but who may still need to develop breathing practices. The key focus at this level is introducing stamina swims and building distance. Swimmers who are working to develop technique over full lengths of the pool, weak improvers will complete 1 length and walk back, confident Improvers will complete 2 lengths per swim.



Skill Required-

·    Swimmers should be confident over a minimum of 2 lengths per swim. 

·    Have a good understanding of the main swimming strokes Front crawl, Back crawl, Breaststroke, Butterfly (Optional)

·    Demonstrate a basic understanding of the breathing practises for each of the strokes.


The objective of the class is to refine stroke technique, build stamina and introduce skills e.g tumble turns, push and glide transitions
