First Visit

Arriving at the venue, enter via the main entrance. Members should access the facility in the normal way. If another family member is accompanying your child to the lessons please use the buzzer system.

Please remove all outdoor footwear in the entrance hall and store outdoor footwear in the area's provided. ​

Changing Rooms:Â The changing cubicles are on poolside and members have their own lockers to store their belongings.
Â
Identifying your teacher: When attending for your first lesson please notify the class teacher that it is your first visit to the lessons. This will help the class teacher locate you on the class list.

You can identify the Stepping Stones swim team by their bright blue teaching tops which will have the Stepping Stones Logo on the back.
On Street Parking:

All parking is on-street, please refer to signage for restrictions and fee's.

Spectating & Viewing
Spectating is permitted poolside, provided you are not wearing outdoor footwear and interfering with other members. No mobile phone use is allowed.Â

The delivery team will help support your swimmer, we understand the first couple of lessons can be hard settling in. Our teachers will allow new parents poolside until their swimmer is settled into the pool, however once your swimmer is in the lesson we would ask all parents to exit the lesson area.

Pick Up & Drop Off
Swimmers will be collected from poolside or in the entrance foyer. Parents and swimmers should wait poolside together until the start of your scheduled lesson time.

Please arrive in time for your lesson finishing, all lessons are 30mins in length. Swimmers will be accompanied by the lesson coordinator.

Please note to ensure the safety of all our swimmers we have asked our teaching team to ensure that swimmers are handed over to a responsible adult at the end of each lesson this is regardless of age. Please arrive on time for the start and end of your scheduled lesson to ensure the smooth transition of classes.

W h a t t o b r i n g
Swim Kit
Swim Shorts:
We recommend that swim shorts do not pass below the swimmers knee.

Swim Costume:
It is recommended but not essential that swim costumes are one piece.
​
Goggles
Goggles are an essential piece of kit during the lessons.
Even if your swimmer does not like goggles we recommend bring a set along to each lesson.
​
This will help your swimmer speed through the programme.
Equipment
All other equipment will be provided poolside for use during the lessons.
​
Armbands and other floatation devices are not required for our lessons.
​
Our teaching team work with floats and noodles through the lessons to support all swimmers.
