Star Swimmer

The Star Swimmer award will be awarded to only a handful of swimmers each month, it is a prestigious award to recognise outstanding effort within the lessons.

Nominations do not need to be for your best swimmers but for those swimmers who have gone the extra mile and achieved something amazing! 

 

The Star Swimmer can be awarded for anything that you think is worth shouting about, here are some examples: 

​

• 100% attendance

• Progression

• Effort

• Submerging their eyes for the first time 

​

To submit your nomination please click the link below. When summarising your swimmers achievement please write your "well done message" as if the swimmer was poolside with you. We will pass this directly on to the swimmer and their family. ​

Previous example: 

Abigail – always arrives with a smile on her face and throughout the lesson, she never hesitates to try new challenges and is excellent in the water. For such a young age she is already able to travel 5 metres with her eyes down and without teacher support. Really impressed with her progression over the last year, well done – Rebecca

Ben – has made great progress with his swimming and has found his confidence! Over the last few months Ben’s swimming has gone from strength to strength. It has been down to his determination that Ben has achieved this award. Well done Ben – Fiona
