Trojan Amateur Swimming Club (Trojan ASC)
Trojan Amateur Swimming Club (Trojan ASC) is one of West Lothian’s longest-running competitive swimming clubs, having been formed in 1978 as Whitburn Swimming Club. Based at Xcite Whitburn Leisure Centre, the club promotes excellence, individual achievement and sporting fairness in a competitive yet supportive environment.
The club has around 100 members and welcomes swimmers from age seven upwards. Its progressive squad pathway supports swimmers developing beyond Learn to Swim through to performance level, with opportunities to compete individually and as part of the Trojan team.
Trojan ASC is Aquamark accredited and affiliated to Scottish Swimming and SASA East District. Alongside structured coaching and competition, the club places strong emphasis on teamwork, community involvement and helping every swimmer progress with confidence.

Trojan ASC’s main base is Xcite Whitburn, 77 West Main Street, Whitburn. The centre provides the club’s principal community training environment.
St Margaret’s Academy
St Margaret’s Academy, Howden South Road, Livingston, is another club training location used within Trojan’s progressive programme.
Royal Commonwealth Pool
Selected training takes place at the Royal Commonwealth Pool in Edinburgh, giving swimmers access to one of Scotland’s leading aquatic venues and valuable long-course experience.
