Heart of Midlothian Amateur Swimming Club (Hearts ASC)
Heart of Midlothian Amateur Swimming Club — widely known as Hearts ASC — is one of Edinburgh’s oldest and most successful swimming clubs. Founded in 1885, the club has supported generations of swimmers from their first lessons through to district, national and international competition.
Hearts provides a friendly, supportive and ambitious team environment where swimmers can develop technique, confidence, fitness and a lifelong enjoyment of the sport. Its structured pathway includes Swim School, development and competitive squads, flexible fitness swimming and Masters opportunities.
New club swimmers complete a short assessment with a qualified coach so they can be placed in the squad that best matches their ability, confidence and goals. The club’s experienced, PVG-checked coaching team supports every swimmer to progress at an appropriate pace.
