Dunedin Swim Team
Dunedin Swim Team is a family-oriented competitive swimming club founded in February 2006. Originally established as a high-performance club at Dreghorn Barracks, Dunedin now trains across Loanhead Leisure Centre, Lasswade Leisure Centre and James Gillespie’s High School.
With around 100 registered members, Dunedin combines enjoyable, supportive training with a strong commitment to competitive swimming. Every swimmer is treated as an individual and supported by experienced coaches, teachers and volunteers to develop confidence, technique, fitness and personal potential.
The club welcomes competent swimmers aged eight and over who are ready to progress into club and competitive swimming. Its motto, “Be the Best”, reflects an inclusive pathway that encourages friendship, commitment, achievement and a lifelong enjoyment of the sport.
