First Visit
When attending for the first time, please enter via the Community Entrance and follow the venue signage towards the swimming pool.
A member of the Stepping Stones team will be available to welcome families, answer any questions and help direct swimmers to the correct teacher and class location.
Our teaching team will be wearing Stepping Stones uniform, making them easy to identify. If you are unsure where to go on arrival, simply speak to a member of the team and they will be happy to help.
Spectating & Viewing
Unfortunately, spectating is not available at this venue. We ask that parents bring swimmers to poolside, wait until they are settled into their lesson, and return a few minutes before the end of the session for collection.
If there are any issues during the lesson, a member of the team will contact you and ask you to return to poolside.

Pick Up & Drop Off
Swimmers should be accompanied to poolside by a parent or guardian at the start of their lesson. Once your swimmer has been handed over to their teacher and is settled for the session, parents should leave the pool area.
Please return to poolside a few minutes before the end of the lesson to collect your swimmer promptly. This helps ensure a smooth handover and allows the teaching team to prepare for the next group of swimmers.
If we need to contact you during the lesson, a member of the Stepping Stones team will send you a text message or speak with you directly.
* All lessons are 30mins in length.

Swim Kit
Swim Shorts:
We recommend that swim shorts do not pass below the swimmers knee.
Swim Costume:
It is recommended but not essential that swim costumes are one piece.

Goggles
Goggles are an essential piece of kit during the lessons.
Even if your swimmer does not like goggles we recommend bring a set along to each lesson.
This will help your swimmer speed through the programme.

Equipment
All other equipment will be provided poolside for use during the lessons.
Armbands and other floatation devices are not required for our lessons.
Our teaching team work with floats and noodles through the lessons to support all swimmers.
